Doug Burton is First York's specialist in employee benefits. He has been creating innovative, customized benefits solutions for clients since 1976.

Doug works with employers and associations to help them ensure that their group benefit and retirement plan designs and funding methodologies accurately reflect their corporate philosophy and goals.

For over 20 years he has been providing disability claim management services to employers and patient advocacy services for plan members. These services expedite medical diagnosis and treatment, thereby enhancing return to work timeframes. Doug’s experience in areas like special risk insurance, pharmacy benefit management, preferred provider savings options and product development, further enhance our abilities to identify problem drivers and create effective custom solutions.

Doug has been a long time Lions Club member and community volunteer and was awarded the Canada 125 medal.
